Simulator getting started
Build and inspect a supported Uno circuit alongside its Arduino sketch.
Begin with a working circuit
Open the Blink tutorial and choose Launch in Simulator. Its code and circuit come from the same project source. Use the IDE’s Simulator control to move between code and circuit views.
Wire deliberately
Add supported components, connect named terminals, and check polarity and power connections. Auto-Wire assistance does not replace reviewing the resulting circuit. Disconnect real hardware power before changing physical wiring.
Run and interpret
The simulator executes supported Uno firmware with modeled components. Its diagnostics and pin behavior are learning aids, not a physical safety certification or a substitute for real measurements.
Know the boundary
Board compilation support is broader than simulation support. Use Uno for simulation; consult component documentation in the tool and the current project tutorial. Do not assume SPICE accuracy or support for every real component.
