Dependencies and practical limits
Nonblocking stepper motion, speed and acceleration profiles.
The library compiles step/direction/motor-control logic; that does not imply a working stepper simulation model.
Use a suitable driver and power supply for real motors. Circuitera currently treats stepper/DC-motor simulator parts as design-only, so no runnable project is advertised here.
No additional catalog dependencies are required.
For a missing header, first compare the include to the example below. For an undeclared identifier, inspect the first diagnostic and selected board rather than changing every library version.
Board compile matrix
These are recorded compile/link results for the current build and exact source hash. UNTESTED means no matching proof, not an assumed pass. Memory values belong to the listed example and exclude runtime stack/heap or dynamic buffers.

Stepper motor example
This is the actual pinned example available in Circuitera. Pin choices and wiring in a general example use Uno unless otherwise stated; review the selected board reference for other targets.
#include <AccelStepper.h>
// Use a suitable motor driver; do not connect motor windings to Uno pins.
AccelStepper motor(AccelStepper::DRIVER, 3, 2); // step, direction
void setup() { motor.setMaxSpeed(400); motor.setAcceleration(100); motor.moveTo(200); }
void loop() {
if (motor.distanceToGo() == 0) motor.moveTo(-motor.currentPosition());
motor.run();
}
Projects using AccelStepper
No validated public tutorial currently uses this library. The example demonstrates compilation; no working simulator peripheral or hardware project is implied.
